Please be advised that St. Mark’s Preschool and Kindergarten will be closed again this week as we work to limit exposure to COVID-19 disease (also known as Coronavirus).
Late last week, Governor Ducey and State Superintendent Hoffman announced that all Arizona public schools will remain closed until April 10th.
As of this moment, St. Mark’s will remain closed through March 27th. We will use the next few days to assess the safety risk to children and staff with reopening March 30th, and focus on the implementation of our plan to keep the risk of contracting COVID-19 low once reopened. Please be prepared for the continued closing of school through April 10th. I will be in touch by Wednesday, March 25th to let you know what is happening for St Mark’s. Tuition will be adjusted to reflect closure. If your family currently has a credit, it will be applied to the balance due. Tuition will be due when we reopen.
I am grateful that Spring Break provided our staff with the time and opportunity to address their family’s needs as it pertains to the current COVID-19 situation. Our shared goal is the continued health and safety of all in our immediate and extended community. Thank you for everything you are doing for your child during this unique time.
Wishing you well,
St. Mark’s Preschool and Kindergarten
