Alicia Durbin- Director
I am an Arizona native and I love the desert! I have been at St. Mark’s since 2003 and I love this school! I taught in the classroom for eight years before becoming the Director in January of 2012. I am passionate about the importance of early childhood education and the curiosity that thrives in this field, whether it’s with the teachers or the children! I serve on the Board for the Southern Arizona Association of Young Children (SAZAEYC). I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University. Go Lumberjacks! But, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Arizona, and I am a Wildcat through and through! Go Cats! My step-daughter is a U of A alumni and I am very proud of her. My hobbies include reading, gardening and traveling. My husband is a sports fanatic, so I enjoy watching many sports as well. And I am a proud mom of a young son. My son was born in May of 2012 and he is the joy of my life!
Hilary Myli- Office Manager and Gymnastics Teacher
I found my perfect job at St. Mark’s in 2011, wearing a few different hats as Office Manager, bookkeeper and gymnastics teacher. I thoroughly enjoy working with the St Mark’s community – children, families, and staff. My time is spent enjoying the outdoors, doing yoga and mma, watching movies, reading, and cooking/grilling//eating yummy food.
Annie Tong- Office Assistant and Librarian
I was born in Hong Kong. I came to the US when I was a teenager. I have been married for over 30 years. I have one daughter and one son. Now, I also have a grandson. I love working here at St. Mark’s. I have been at the school for more than 20 years, ever since I moved to Tucson, and I enjoy working here a lot. I started out as a sub, then a teaching assistant and now a librarian and office assistant. I also continue to sub and manage the supplies and fill in wherever I am needed. I look forward to continuing my work at this wonderful preschool.
